What Makes The World Turn?

To the Heart of the Matter (2012) is my first stop-motion feature and became my award-winning flagship film. Taking place in the seldom visited ‘centre of the earth’, the plot centres on a young man attempting to overcome the butterflies in his stomach as he takes the plunge into proposing marriage. Meanwhile, the coin-operated machine responsible for rotating our home planet - and therefore keeping us all alive – has burned through the last of its fuel and is out of order. Unfortunately the screeching of brakes sees our protagonist plummet down a well into the centre of the Earth where he falls foul of the guardian operating the machine… The music and sound effects were created by William Serrell.
